Born 1977 in Brugg (switzerland) as a real Fricktaler (inhabitants of the frick valley). Learned carpenter and web designer – Photoshop junkie with a penchant for perfectionism. First camera touches at the age of 14 – discovered as a self-taught photographer in 1997. Expert for emotional backlighting shots – but also melancholic landscapes shots. Photographed from ground or air with Dohnen or high static. Enthusiastic mountaineer, biker and jogger – often to be found in the Jura and the Alps. Double daddy and husband. Loves the challenge, the mountains, his family, nature, his bike, his bulli, the technique, his drones, Cordon-Bleu (a breaded schnitzel stuffed with cheese and ham) and good wine.
